Inkblot Test

This means you have a deep desire to use innovative ideas to enhance your life and influence the world around you. This drive influences you far more than you may realize on a conscious level.

Your need to be innovative drives how you look at new opportunities and the kinds of experiences in life you choose to have. On an unconscious level, the reason you may be so driven by imagination is your fear of destruction, the opposite of creation. When you are unable to create due to restrictions imposed by your environment or even ones you unwittingly impose on yourself, do you feel trapped or confined? You may find these feelings of unease only get better when you find another outlet for your imagination.

With such a strong creative orientation, you are willing to entertain a broad spectrum of ideas at any given time. The world is a fuller, richer place because you can contribute new ideas to any experience. Your natural curiosity inspires those around you and encourages them to come up with ideas they wouldn’t have thought of without your help.

Though your unconscious mind is driven most strongly by Imagination, there is much more to who you are at your core.

The test.

Quiz of the day

dra
You are Form 5, Dragon: The Weaver.

“And The Dragon seperated the virtuous from
the sinful. He tore his eyes from his sockets
and used them to peer into the souls of those
on trial to make a judgement. He knew that
with endless knowledge came endless
responsibility.”

Some examples of the Dragon Form are Athena
(Greek), St. Peter (Christian), and Surya
(Indian).
The Dragon is associated with the concept of
intelligence, the number 5, and the element of
wood.
His sign is the crescent moon.

As a member of Form 5, you are an intelligent and
wise individual. You weigh options by looking
at how logical they are and you know that while
there may not always be a right or wrong
choice, there is always a logical one. People
may say you are too indecisive, but it’s only
because you want to do what’s right. Dragons
are the best friends to have because they’re
willing to learn.

Dvorak

Oy! I’ve really taken the plunge and have switched again to the Dvorak keyboard layout, and I’m typing only about 33 wpm instead of my typical 80 or so. I’m especially slow when composing off the top of my head (rather than when taking a typing test).

Must. Keep. Practicing.
Must. Not. Give. Up.
…Prematurely.

Sick Kitties

I’ve been lucky in my years of having two cats because they’ve rarely (or never, in the case of my wild, non-pettable-after-four-years feral cat, thank god) been sick. So I shouldn’t be surprised that the time had finally come. Last night I got home from work to find my older cat (still only about 8 years) all mopey, lethargic, and uninterested in food. Added to other strange behaviors over the last week, this was alarming, so I made the decision to take her to the after-hours emergency vet.

After determining she had a high fever and white blood cell count, they gave her IV fluids and an antibiotic. She’s doing so well I can take her home tonight, so hopefully she’ll bounce right back.

The real bummer is that I had to apply for what I call “desperate pet credit”, a special credit account that you can use only in veterinarians’ offices. I figure most Good People have lots of available credit already or a sizeable savings account for emergencies like these. Thank goodness someone took pity on poor people like myself and came up with this idea, since we love our pets too!
Ah well, what’s a few more hundreds of dollars in my big pit of debt??
